Senseo continues to impress - this is a glowing review from the Mercury News.
OK, I admit it -- I was all set to hate this contraption that arrived recently in the mail. After all, who could possibly need a fancy new machine to make one cup of coffee?
I am now sipping my words. It may not be a necessity for everyone, but the Senseo Coffee System brews one amazing cup of coffee. The water heats up in mere seconds, filling your mug with smooth tasting coffee that's topped with a downright addicting, thin layer of froth.
Just wanted to let you know that the Senseo that I purchased at Target came not only with two packages of coffee pods but also two white ceramic mugs with the name Senseo etched on them...good deal for $67! Has anyone found a place to purchase the "mocha" flavored pods, they are made by Senseo?

I'm very jealous! I want a set of those mugs badly! Any idea on where I can buy the mugs alone?

I have purchased the flavored pods from Holland by Mail's web site. My order should arrive next week. I will let everyone know if they are worth the extra money.
Jay, have you finished your review on the Senseo? I have had mine for 2 weeks and love it. The only problem is that I am drinking more coffee. I brought it into work for a coffee party today so I will let you know what everyone thought.

Awesome! I have had some success getting the filter from the Netherlands - still working payment issues.
Review this weekend.

Will the coffee pods from other systems still create the froth on top?

I'm not sure. I think - not? Time will tell. I will have the new filter and some new pods in the next several weeks.

I'm interested in the Senseo. I am a coffee lover. The two things that are holding me back is the limited availability of coffee and the cost (about 2x as much as the whole beans I buy now.)
I'm interested in how the filter thing works out for you.
Are there any retailers (north of boston, or NH) that do demos? I couldn't find one on the sense site. If it makes good coffee I'll buy it, but I don't want to spend $70 then have to throw it away.
