September 23, 2004 looks like yet another European company selling pods directly from Holland. Has anyone tried these guys? Write in and let us know what you find out.

It's a real shame as he was, hands-down, the cheapest source of Europods for the senseo system. Not only that but also he had a good selection. Not sure if he realizes that he had a good thing going.

The other sites are just FAR FAR too expensive for US TypicalDutchStuff, etc...I mean come on...some of their shipping costs are ludicrous.

He will take your money, and deliver nothing.
I have filed a complaint with a government fraud agency, PayPal, etc. Awaiting results.

I ordered the ecopods and 5 senseo pods from ShopForPods on 12/15 and was informed that the pods had been shipped on 12/24 with no mention of the ecopods. This is now 2/11, 2005 and still no sign of the order. Several emails have gone unanswered. What are they, scam artists?

Fortunately I lucked out when I ordered, it did take them quite a while to ship, but at least I got my order. I too have noticed that their selection is down to one brand. Makes you wonder....

I've tried the coffee which is pretty good, 55mm pods though, and just ordered some Java One and Baronet pods from, we'll see how those turn out.

I'll join the chorus of dissatisfied customers. I placed an order in early summer '04 that was filled fairly quickly. Thought it would be safe to order again, and did so on Dec. 10. Like others above, I got my ecopods within about 2 weeks, have yet to receive the pods I ordered (and paid for) in the same order. To add insult to injury, they charged my card a second time just a few days after the first charge (only for $3.99, but still . . .) I'm only out about $10, but it's the principle of the thing -- it makes me FURIOUS! I think they could have avoided total fallout if they had just responded to emails . . .

Another unhappy customer of senseopods/shopforpods. I ordered about a week ago - have had no response to multiple emails sent. I will pursue a refund and order from somewhere else. Do others have recommendations for ordering Senseo Mocha Gourmet, Vienna, etc?

I too placed an order with, paid via paypal and received NOTHING! I have emailed Arie about 20 times, and send mail through their feedback page to no avail. They stole $15 from me. SHOPFORPODS.COM ARE THIEVES, DO NOT ORDER, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF TOO!!!

I have been ripped off by this guy too. Order placed in Nov 2004. It's Jan 25, 2005 and I have not received pods, refund, or an explanation. I'm filing charges against him and his company. I have contacted the Internet Fraud Agency, BBB, PayPal, etc.

Let's get a head count on people who were ripped off by SENSEOPODS.COM, AKA SHOPFORPODS.COM and file a lawsuit!

I have had experiences exactly like the ones detailed above. I ordered coffee pods on 12/27. It's now 1/21 and still no coffee. I too got the ecopods quickly, but no coffee pods. I'm looking for a new source for coffee pods.

I agree this company stinks. If they have problems...fine, just e-mail back. I got the "ecopods" quickly, but no response on the pods.

By the way the ecopods do not work on the home cafe machine

ANOTHER UNHAPPY CUSTOMER! I wish I had seen this weblog before I placed my order. I, too, have yet to receive my pods, which were promised in 2-3 days. If you can't consistently deliver the goods that fast, then DON'T state it on your site!!! If your stock is depleted THEN SAY SO! Tell us it's on backorder! (That's what other reputable sites do!) Above all, just COMMUNICATE with your customers; respond to their emails! I've sent FOUR so far (no phone # listed on the site...gee, I wonder why??!) Someone should've at least called/emailed me letting me know why my order was delayed. No response makes people think you are a FRAUD! And the audacity of publishing an excuse on this weblog, blaming hurricanes and foreign suppliers saying it's out of your control??! VERY unprofessional. The demand for these pods is huge - you really had a great concept, too bad you don't have even the basic customer service skills to back it up. What a shame.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! They do not know how to run a business. I am in the process of filing a Paypal claim after I have not recieved an response to my repeated emails. If you want imported pods. is the way to go. The customer service is excellent and I have received my order. They are great. I placed an order with long before and still haven't received my order or a response to my questions....which makes me very annoyed. Customer service is KEY in every business. THEY ARE THE WORST. DO NOT ORDER YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Check the other comments about, but I placed an order on 10/31 and finally went about getting a refund through paypal on 11/30 after 3 unanswered emails, and he quickly responded to the notification that I wanted a refund!!

He refunded my money, and told me I had 'erroneously assumed the transaction had been completed just because the money had been deducted from my account'. Well excuse me for assuming that I should expect some products once someone gets my money?? I don't recommend this joker to anyone.

(Also, he got a new website after Sara Lee said he couldn't use senseo in his website name, not to mention he has an unverified paypal account. Seems pretty shady!!)

Well, they called on Nov 11th and told me that it was the mails fault and they were going to rush a new order over right away. Its the 22nd and still have not seen it. I promise to write back when (if?) my order actually arrives.

I ordered my pods on the 29th of October. I still haven't received them via 2-3 prioroty mail. Come long does it take? Also. I don't mind waiting so long as you can at least answer my emails in regards to my questions on where my order is...

The hurricanes ended about 2-3 weeks ago. There is really no excuse for not being able to deliver your products on time at this time.

I'd like to remain a customer but any longer and I'm afraid I'll have to ask for a refund. If that doesn't happen, I'll ask my card company to take over.

Hello everyone,

We regret that some of you have been waiting longer than expected for their orders of coffee pods to arrive.

There are a number of reasons for this. First, we've had a few hurricanes here which basically closed us down for days and severely interrupted shipments coming in and going out.

Also, we have been a bit overwhelmed by the huge demand for our imported pods. In addition, a number of our suppliers in Europe have experienced the same thing which on occasion resulted in depleted stocks at their end. And finally, goods coming into the country are subject to much more stringent inspection these days and as a consequence Customs Clearance has not always been as fast as we all would have liked.

Although these factors are largely beyond our control, we are working hard to improve the delivery period.

Thankfully, the overwhelming majority of our customers have received their orders in a few days. But if you have been waiting longer than expected, we appreciate your patience & understanding.

I purchased a bag of each flavor this vendor offers - all were fresh and shipping was lightning-fast! The Milano, which hints at espresso, has become my favorite - very nice! I will surely be a repeat customer at!
