"Before leaving for work from her home in the Maryland suburbs, Elisa Diehl likes to have a cup of espresso. But she doesn't have the patience to grind and measure beans for her Nespresso machine, so she uses "pods" — single doses of premeasured coffee in thimble-shape capsules, which she orders by phone or on the Web."
