Fair Trade Coffee Pods from Green Mountain for Keurig or Senseo?

GMCR logo_4c_hi[1].jpg
Okay. I can't make heads or pods of this press release. Are they K-CUPs or PODS? Please read it and let me know what you think. I'm going to contact Green Mountain and get to the top of this.

"All four Green Mountain coffee varieties packaged in pods are Fair Trade Certified, which guarantees the small-scale farmers who grew this coffee with a fair price for their crop. The Fair Trade Certified pod offerings from Green Mountain Coffee include Breakfast Blend, French Roast, House Blend Decaf, and Colombian coffee. Currently the new pods are only available to Green Mountain Coffee OCS distributors and customers."

These varieties from Green Mountain have been available for some time in the K-cup so I would say this must be the pods. We have had a K-cup machine at work for a year or more and I have had both the Breakfast Blend and French Roast and both were available from the day we first had the machine.

I agree, its the pods for our home machines. The format is a standard Press Release which talks about their K-Cups...which is confusing in this case. I hope they decide to sell these direct to the consumer as I used to purchase all my drip coffee from Green Mountain and really like them! I have a Senseo now (based on your info) and LOVE it. I tried the Melitta before and it leaked all the time. The Senseo has been pumping away for a month and is great!

Okay, so I'm an amateur here. I was given a Senseo and want to find flavored coffee pods for it. Whats the best place to get them? The flavors Green Mtn offers look yummy, but are they avaiable for the Senseo?

Visit here and order some from typically dutch - or others. Also - any home cafe pod will work with your Senseo. http://www.singleservecoffee.com/archives/cat_coffee_pods.php

I'm looking for a pod of the month club, but can only find them for coffee only. Does anyone know of a pod of the month club for the k-cups that includes coffee and teas?
