Looks like Keurig has a new single serve coffee machine for the home - the B50! It has a removable reservoir and many other interesting features - and two brew sizes. Nice! We reviewed the Keurig earlier this year and will be anxious to review the B50 soon.
Keurig B50 Brewer Features
• Removable 48oz. Water Reservoir

This is what I've been looking for! I got a Senseo last year, and really found that, though it made a barely passable brew, it wasn't something I looked forward to. I had a couple of unused gift cards for Filene's, and discovered that they were selling the B-50. So, I went and got one, and Filene's threw in the "My K-Cup" filter basket, and a free box of gourmet hot chocolate packets!
Let me tell you, I am a very happy camper!

To answer my own question: If you like the over-roasted flavor of Starbucks, and you've switched over to a Keurig machine, try Deidrich's French Roast (but not Van Houtte's). Also try Timothy's Mocha French. These are two excellent coffees. Van Houtte's Napolitano comes in third.
The Keurig is the best coffee maker I've every had the pleasure to own.

I decided to order the Keurig B-50 instead of getting a Nespresso.... for a variety of reasons. I'm glad I did. The only thing buyers should know is that many sites sell the same brands of K-cups for cheaper than at www.keurig.com. Also, Van Houtte coffees ordered directly from the Van Houtte website appear to be more costly than at keurig.com or other sites. I can't imagine why this is.
Now, a question: as a former Starbucks fan, can anyone recommend a brand of K-cup that approximates that Starbuck over-roasted flavor?

I've sampled coffee from the Melitta, My Cafe and Senseo and felt the coffee flavor was lacking and the machines were not the best quality. I had about given up on a single serve system until I recently tried the Keurig at Bloomingdale's last week. I am pasionate about my brew and want a robust cup that delivers lots of flavor. They showed me how the Keurig brews both short and tall cups so you can regulate the coffee strength. Once I tasted it I was sold. I love the fact that I can also experiment with quite a few coffee roasters. My husband likes a medium roast coffee and he's enjoying the Green Mountain blends-finally we can both enjoy our preference without having to brew 2 pots! Next I'll buy one for the office. It's a nice compact system that doesn't require a lot of maintainence or cleaning.
