Ecopad the Refillable Coffee-pad for the Senseo

B0007INM5A.01-A2ZXQXAHVSW4G5._SCMZZZZZZZ_.jpgFinally! A resueable filter made for the Senseo and sold in the the US! No overseas shipping! It's very much like the Cafe Filter - we reviewed it and thought well - very nice addition.

"I'm pleased to say - this thing rocks! It not only allows you to make a cup of coffee with whatever coffee you choose - it totally makes the Senseo the only single serve coffee machine that takes pods (I'm going to see if this works in the Home Café this week) and regular coffee. "

Check it out!

  • Dishwasher safe
  • Use any ground coffee
  • Environment-friendly
  • Preserves the rich creamy foam

I see the inquiries about reusable pod filters, and want to know along with all the other folks whether there is any refillable item out there that will fit in the Melitta One:One system? I saw online that Melitta actually makes a fillable filter "pad" which is round, but they say it's for a Senseo machine, and it doesn't look like it's available in the US. Does anyone know if those Melitta filter pads do fit a Melitta One:One pod coffee maker, and whether they are even available in the US. If so, where do you get them? Thanks.

Anne, I had the same problem with these and my Krups machine. The little stand-off peg on the bottom of the pod requires more space than a standard pod. Therefore, you need to use the deeper pod holder (the holder for cappuccino pods); the regular coffee pod holder won't work. I use a rich coffee and I'm still trying to refine the coffee:eco pad ratio to come up with a come that doesn't resemble strong tea. So, you may have the same problems if you like a richer cup of coffee. Good luck.

I purchased a set of 4 for my Krups, it does NOT work, doesn't even fit into the pod holder! Rip off!

I'm really disappointed in mine. It doesn't produce the nice rich foam (crema) that the Senseo pods give. I've tried every grind and just can't seem to get what I'm looking for. I use the Senseo for a purpose and that purpose wasn't to have a regular cup of coffee that I could use with a drip coffee maker.

I was just wondering if the Melitta One: One Cup coffee maker has a reusable filter available? I noted the November, 2005 comment above but didn't if there was any new info since then. If any one knows, I would appreciate it.

We haven't seen one yet. I'll keep you posted on the new size of pods the melitta one:one takes. Perhaps this filter will fit in the end.

is there any reusable filter that works in the Meilitta One:One?

for those krups home cafe users, this is compatible if you use the larger specialty coffee pod holder. Works great!

this will not work in your Bunn My Cafe.

Eco-Pad is for Senseo Only

Posted by: Jay Brewer at April 27, 2005 2:30 PM

I want to purchase the Eco Pad, but I need to know if it will work in a Melitta One:One?

The Senseo pods work well in the Melitta One:One. But they are soft and pliable. I assume that the Eco Pad has to be just the right size.

Please, could some one e-mail me and let me know if the Eco Pad will work in a Melitta One:One.

I have tried this with my home cafe and it works quite well. I also enjoy using it for tea. I just cut open a tea bag and empty into the eco filter to get a quick cup with out worring about brew time. I got mine off of ebay and would recommend it for sure.

So has anyone tried this or the cafe filter in the home-cafe yet?

In the upper right hand corner of the Ecopad package is the phrase "fits new model." Will this fit any Senseo?

I purchased these from some guy on ebay from Arizona. They work pretty well, but I haven't really been able to find the right grind/amount ratio to get the best results. Not as much foam, but otherwise they're pretty cool. Also, they recommend only using the 1-cup button, even though the pad uses the 2-cup tray. The ebay seller says that with a fine grind you can get 2 cups out. I haven't been able to do that succesfully with good results yet.

Same seller is also on ebay for $4 less.

That's the Severin Cafe 2, and yes, it comes with a custom made filter, especially for that machine. We have it on our website, if anyone's interested. ;)
