New Single Serve Store at CoffeeWhiz.com CoffeeWhiz.com - Gevalia - Keurig K-Cup Coffee Products

Coffeewhiz1CoffeeWhiz.com is a new supersite featuring Keurig K-Cups and also various pods for Single Serve Coffee makers. The one that I'm most excited about is the availability of Gevalia pods on their site. Instead of having to sign up at the Gevalia site for their coffee club, you can buy the pods direct from CoffeeWhiz.com.

GevaliaThey also offer the Keurig B-50 and the Bunn My Cafe single serve coffee makers. When you buy the Keurig B-50 from CoffeeWhiz, you can pick the free box of K-Cups that you decide. Nice Touch.

Since I'm always skeptical of new online stores, I emailed the folks at CoffeeWhiz.com to see how long they've been around. I was assured that they've been in business for a long time and are now entering this market after being a more traditional coffee supplier in the past and focusing only on Keurig at launch.

Direct from the Jim Evans - President of CoffeeWhiz.com:

To give you a little background on our company we have been in the coffee business locally here in the New York area for over 45 years proving coffee and related products to business and industry from Maryland to Maine.

WolfgangWe launched our website in July 1st 2004 specializing in single cup coffee and specifically the Keurig system. From that time we’ve been through several web redesigns and product changes and now I feel that we’ve got it right. We have added coffee PODS to our list of single cup coffees and we will be the first in the country to offer Gevalia coffee PODS later this month. We are also in the process of adding several POD machine manufactures to our list of single cup equipment as well. Those announcements as well as others will be forth coming in our April news letter.

What sets coffeewhiz.com apart from other coffee related websites is our free shipping, low prices and fast delivery times. We publish two news letters per month offering special savings to our loyal customers. In addition to all this we have a website that is easy to navigate though and constantly changes with fresh and new ideas. It’s a lot of work to run a website and keep it fresh, something you already know but we are up for the challenge. I have a staff of over 35 people dedicated to providing our online customers with the best experience they have ever had on the net.
Also - I do like the stylized design of the site. It looks as if they've put a ton of effort into the overall look and feel.

Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the positive comments on CoffeeWhiz.com. My husband ordered the variety tea pack - 5 each of 5 different tea types. We received 14 of one kind, a few of another 2, and none of 2 of the kinds we were to get. I contacted customer service 4 times. Twice I was told they'd send a replacement that never came, and twice they never responded. VERY POOR.

I LOVE Coffeewhiz.com. Always super speedy shipping, excellent accuracy and quality. I've ordered for over a year from them and never been disappointed. I live in NJ and know the company. They are top notch, reputable and very nice to do business with!

This has been a very disappointing experience. We ordered our 5 boxes of K Cups two weeks ago as new Keurig owners. We have not received our order yet! We tryed contacting Coffee Whiz by phone many times, no response, then thru emails to their web site,no responses. There has to be a better place to order K Cups!

I have been ordering from Coffee Whiz well over a year now and find them wonderful. Quick shipper and orders correct and good price. I have tried others but come back to them. The Kurig is the best. Coffees are great. Anyone that tastes mine end up buying a Kurig themselves.

Do Gevalia coffee cartridges work with/fit in the Keurig system?

On time, correct, but can't get any coupon promos

I am very satisfied with CoffeeWhiz. I have placed serveral orders with them and each time the order is completed and shipped in a timely fashion.

BEWARE of Coggeewhiz. They have continually messed up my order. I ordered my product over 1.5 months ago, it arrived and was completely incorrect. After weeks of emails they finally called to say they would correct it. Another month went by before my new order arrived and it was WRONG again. I am done, over it, they have terrible customer service. I should have listened to all of the other complaints on e-bay and everywhere else there is feedback.

Before stumbling across a Kuerig at a client's I wasn't a regular coffee drinker. The K-Cup changed that completely. The variety is fantastic and we've found it to be wonderful for gatherings. The people behind coffeewiz were used to dealing with companies, not individual buyers, so I think it took a while for them to make the adjustments... which may be why some complaints are posted. But, having now spent hundreds of dollars with them over many orders, and having referred them to others with exceptional feedback, I can vouch for their integrity and their desire to get things right.

First order from Coffeewhiz. Ordered in late on the 27th and it arrived on the 31st. No shipping charge. Entire order came as requested. Great price. No complaints. Will continue to order from this company. Especially good if you are on the east coast, as free shipping is very fast.

Beware of Coffeewhiz.com. I ordered from this site a while ago. They took payment and still haven't shipped item. They do not respond to your emails. Unfortunately I find their very poor feedback on ebay after I purchased from them. All of the feedbacks have the same complaint, very slow shipping. Coffeewhiz response is almost always the same, customer didn't specify coffee, or blame it on holiday. They are slow to actually put your item out for shipment, blame ups for slow shipping.Very deceiving. Order elsewhere.

i was just wondering if you can send me a complimentry sample of your coffee.

Keurig is K-Cups only.

Pod brewers usually will work with a variety of pods and don't work with k-cups.

Posted by: Jay Brewer at July 20, 2005 8:21 PM

I'm in the market for a single serve machine. I can't determine if I should go with a K-cup machine or a pod machine. Can a pod be placed in the Keurig? This would be much more flexible. Hve you heard of the new Gourmet Coffee Caf?© Single Serve Brewer from Lexxus International? This one does a bit more than just tea and coffee.

Thanks.

You can buy any of the Gevalia pods or Wolfgang puck pods for the Bunn My Cafe. Actually any pod that is out on the market will workin the Bunn with the exception of - Espresso or ESE pods. ESE and Espresso pods only work in espresso machines.

A great guide is at:http://www.cafepods.com/coffee_machines.html

Posted by: Jay Brewer at June 22, 2005 3:59 PM

I see the pods come in different sizes, Which ones are best for the Bunn MCP, 61mm machine, Is there a listing of the brands, and their sizes?

Thanks, Jay

Why do I see No expresso roast offerings in your product line? I wind up pulling apart ghastly pods (like senseo, folgers, etc.) and refilling the pod with my own ground Starbucks expresso roast and the results for lattes are incredible. Problem is of course, Starbucks is still playing dumb with the "proprietorship" attitude in marketing, having learned nothing from Jobs&Wosniack, and still refuse to package their coffee in a standard pod format. You guys are smarter, but I question your selections and your unawareness of the tastes of some big "coffee-nuts" out here who are "ready" for the pod! But thanks for allowing me to vente. Max

I am so disappointed and angry. It has been 5 months since my order went in. 1/10/2005. no coffee, no tracking info. and no return call from message left on phone!!! I am out almost $60 dollars.Very unresponsive. don't use this company. I am still trying to get my order!!
i guess I call again and then I go to Better Business in N.J. No choice. Very sad I like the products.

Sincerely Upset.

The gram weights on our PODS vary depending on the manufacture. We will be posting the gram weights and POD sizes on our web site very soon however I will post them here now for those who are interested. Gevalia PODS are 61mm and 8 grams. Wolfgang Puck are 57mm and 8 grams. Green Mountain are 57mm and 9 grams. In the coming weeks we will have some exciting news concerning adding additonal PODS to our site. We'll keep you posted....thanks

Jim

Yes.. the Gevalia PODS will work great in the Senseo machine.... You will be thrilled with the results... Thanks

Jim

I love that coffee whiz ad at the top of the page. What is the gram weight and POD size of the PODS you sell?

Posted by: Hwan Valdeez at April 14, 2005 12:43 PM

We at coffeewhiz have traditionally specialized in offering the best in K-cup coffee at low prices. We've recently added a whole new range of pod coffee and makers. Working directly with the manufacturers, we aim to gather as much information as possible regarding compatibility etc. Check back soon for answers to common questions.

One thing is for sure, not one flavor of coffee or brewer is sold through our site without our first researching quality, testing the machine, and then negotiating best price for our customers. We value the name of our store and hope you enjoy your buying experience.

FYI: some delicious varieties (my favorites)
All Gevalia Pod coffee
Timothy's German Chocolate Cake K-Cup
Timothy's Rainforest Espresso (with a little added hershey's syrup)
Green Mountain Breakfast Blend K-Cup

I will vouch for CoffeeWhiz's quality. I ordered four boxes of K-Cups from them. They arrived days later - not too bad. When I discovered that one box was due to "expire" that very month, the customer service was excellent. "Keep the box, and here's a coupon for a free one next time you order." No hassles, no problems, just great customer service. I'll certainly order from them again.

Do the Gevalia pods work in Senseo machines? I couldn't figure it out from the page! I really hope so. I have been ordered my pods from TypicalDutchStuff, but it takes forever for the coffee to arrive, and I have had mixed results. I bet the Gevalia pods are amazing.
