Starbucks Espresso Roast Coffee Pods Available
Starbucks has finally put out some coffee pods, but I'm pretty sure these are espresso pods, and not meant to be used with your Home Cafe or Senseo type pod machines. I'll see if I can get a sample of these and find out. If they are ESE or espresso pods, I'll have to fire up the Francis Francis and see how they taste. Thanks to Joe for sending in this news tip!
Update: Indeed these are Espresso Pods and not for use with Home Cafe or Senseo. I will review these in the upcoming weeks with the Francis Francis machine or another one of the Espresso Pod machines that are coming in for review. Thanks to everyone writing in to let me know what these pods will fit in.

I have used the Sarbucks ESE pods in my ESE machine and I have to say that the esspresso that they make is incredible. It brews a bit deeper (requires more pressure on the part of the machine) than with a loose grind but they are consistent and delicious with a very long after taste. The coffee truly does live up to its name as I believe one of the best esspressos available outside the home is at starbucks (not neccessarily so for coffee). Funny thing I found is that only ONE of the dozen or so starbucks in a 2 mile radius from me carries them regularly! The price is right too as it comes out to just less than 0.50$US per shot.
These have been out for a while, to work with espresso machines, they don't work in Senseo at all, just make light brown nearly clear water.
