Traveling Coffee Pod Style

LogoTopnav LogoWe're traveling today to visit both Baronet Coffee and Cool Beans Pods in Hartford, CT. Expect a full report of all things Coffee Pod coming out of these visits. We hope to capture live coffee pod making in action - or at least some coffee roasting! We'll have pictures, pods, and more to report in the coming weeks.

Update: Just got out of a fascinating two hour tour (no not Gilligan's Island) of Baronet Coffee. In a word - amazing. Not only did we get to see the entire coffee pod making process, but we sampled a ton of new and interesting Single Serve Coffee pod flavors. We'll have tons to report in the next week about the entire visit. We also sampled their espresso line of coffee pods, and boy are they yummy! I think I'm a little too wired to drink any coffee for at least 2 hours! Onto Cool Beans!

I have been using a variety pack of cool beans pods all week and they are pretty good. I LOVE the French Roast.

I would say all of the blends blow away the Senseo pods. I have about 15 Senseo pods that I bought when I bought the machine, and I think I'll probably throw them out. That's how much of a difference there is in taste.
