Tassimo Arrives for Review
Tassimo has arrived! If you aren't familiar with Tassimo, Tassimo is a new single serve coffee brewer & system from Braun and Kraft. The Tassimo does not use coffee pods or K-Cups, but a new hot beverage brewing system in the form of T-Discs. Each T-Disc has a bar code on it to tell the machine how the hot beverage of your choice needs to be prepared. Tassimo is also the first single serve coffee system to have liquid milk instead of powdered milk to make cappuccinos and lattes. Tassimo can make single serve coffee. single serve crema coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, tea and best of all - HOT CHOCOLATE.

Tassimo will launch at the end of this September with a SRP of $169.99 with coffee T-Discs in the $.50 per cup range and lattes and cappucinnos in the $1.00 per drink range. You can sign up on the Tassimo web site to be notified when Tassimo will be available.
We will be testing the machine over the next few weeks and will let you know how the Tassimo fares.

T-Discs.. hmm, another delivery format..
I worry that product will have limited availability, like trying to find k-cups at a store.. Pods are more prolific, but most store stuff is rare and usually nasty..
still, this has Kraft and Braun behind it, so maybe they'll get product in the stores..
