Europe: Senseo Launches New Forbidden Fruits Coffee Pods

Raving Images-5 Senseo is launching their new Forbidden fruits range. There will be 3 blends of coffee infused with fruit including in the picture - RAVING Reds! From what we can tell the flavors look to be Raspberry (Raving Red), Orange (Buzzer?) and one other fruit flavor. I hope we can see these stateside soon.

I was able to find a German site with some more info: Douwe Egberts SENSEO offers to you with "Forbidden Fruits " a completely new and daring coffee experience. Experience, how surprising taste can be, and can you from the unexpected combination of freshly gebruehtem coffee and intensive, fruchtigen and spicy flavours be enticed.

Thanks to CafePods for sending this in! If you know of more cool happenings in other part of the Single Serve Coffee world beside the US - !

We are proud that you used our photo from the Raving Reds. We made this photo for our ebay auctions, and unfurtanly this photo was taken without you asking us.
We would be happy if everybody who is reading this, would check out our shop. We have a really big choice.

Just to let you know the 3rd flavour is 'Lusty Lime' ! They are flavoured coffees. We have tasted the summersins ( orchard fruit spices and vanilla ) and ravingreds ( red fruits spices and vanilla ) When you open the pack it just smells like normal coffee, but when you brew the flavours are released. They are very complimentary flavours and leave a lingering aftertaste just to make you want another cup ! Packed in 10's and certainly not cheap they are little indulgance to be savoured.

I've yet to find anything beyond hazelnut in coffee that trips my trigger. Most "fruit" flavors are downright disgusting..

to each his own though.. let us know if you liked them Jay..
