Baronet 12 gram Coffee Pods Arrive for Review
When we got the note from Joe Smalley at Baronet Coffee that we'd be receiving 12 gram coffee pods to review we immediately went out and bought a scientific scale to weigh them. It's not like we didn't believe Joe - but 12 grams is big. MONSTER BIG. And we wanted to make sure they were real.
Would 12 grams of coffee fit in our Bunn My Cafe or Senseo? Is this the amount of coffee we've been waiting for? How much better were these than 10 gram pods? Or two 7 gram pods? We'll be reviewing them this weekend. Expect a full run down of the 12 gram coffee pods next week!

Jay -- usually have used my 9-10gr pods with 6 ozs of water. Just got my shipment of 12 gr'ers and started off with the suggested (by Bunn) 8 ozs. The Mocha/Java tasted a wee bit tepid to me but it was at night -- lotsa smokes, vodka, etc. I'll try again in the AM but will have one dialed down to 7 ozs, just to check.
I didn't weigh them (don't have the triple-beam) but, out of the package, they didn't seem much more substantial than the standard Baronet 9/10 oz'ers. The AlohaIslands pods at 14 grs are MONSTERS.
