A self-stir cup like this is now available by a company called Sedgewarbler in the UK. The product's page is www.flejoriginals.com
Brookstone offers a mug with a built-in stir arm. You just push the small button on the handle to activate it. I own two myself. Also, since its a Brookstone original product, if there is ever a problem with the mug you just bring it back to the store (no receipt needed) and they will replace it!
