Aerobie® AeroPress Coffee & Espresso Maker Arrives for Review

We're excited to have received the Aerobie® AeroPress(TM) Coffee & Espresso Maker to review. We have been testing it out over the past few weeks and have to say it's very interesting. It's different from other Single Serve Coffee methods as you'll have to revert back to using some ground beans or a package of illy ground espresso coffee, but we think you'll like the results.
From AeroPress:
The AEROPRESS™ is an entirely new way to make coffee.
- Water and grounds are mixed together for ten seconds.
- Then gentle air pressure pushes the mix through a micro-filter in 20 seconds.
- The total brewing time of only 30 seconds results in exceptionally smooth flavor.
- Tasters ranging from professional cuppers and author Kenneth Davids, to coffee aficionados all praise the smooth, rich flavor.

Incredible coffee, incredibly fast.
Run about 300 pressings through mine so far.
Cleanup take less than 15 seconds. Twist off the filter cap, press the coffee and filter plug into the trash can, rinse off remaining grounds, done.
The Aerobie website is quite thorough asking and answering almost every question. Having just ordered a Gaggia Espresso machine, I may wait to open it until I can try the aeropress. It's definitely not a French press and does appear to clean easily!
Yeah, it does look like a fancy french press.
When you do your review make sure to focus on the cleanup process. That's my least favorite part of french presses.
