Review: Tully's French Roast & Kona Blend K-Cups
If you own a Keurig B-40 Elite, Keurig B50 Gourmet, Keurig B-60 Special Edition brewer then very soon you're going to be able to get your hands on some of this amazing French Roast & Kona blends coffee in K-cups from Tully's Coffee.
We received this coffee earlier in the week and have been sampling through both the Kona Blend and the French roast - what can we say? The Tully's French Roast knocked us down dead in our coffee drinking tracks and the Kona blend? A very interesting medium roast coffee that also is very good.

Tasting the French Roast K-Cups from Tully's Coffee
The French roast is the first K-Cup coffee in a long time to have that crispy dark french roast bite and finish you expect to get when mixing down a little milk and sugar with it. The result is a super smoky taste with a feeling of being right in a coffee house - perhaps a Tully's coffee house? :-)
The Tully's French Roast is in their Extra Bold Category - so that means there's an extra amount of coffee in the K-Cup to provide you with extra flavor and taste. Trust me - you can taste it. We emptied out a new french roast K-Cup and found there to be the stated 11.5 grams of coffee (note: the napkin weighed in at .2 grams so just deduct).
What else can we say? It's just really good French Roast coffee. Really good.
Tasting the Kona Blend K-Cups from Tully's Coffee
Another win for Tully's. If you like a smooth not too daring but yummy medium roast coffee - this is for you. There is a tiny floral note when drinking but the shear smoothness of the coffee is amazing. We really liked how the coffee stayed tasty right until the non-bitter end. This is really good Kona blend coffee and IN A K-CUP.
Since this isn't stated as being extra bold we didn't weigh this coffee in. But at both the 5.25 oz size and the 7.25 oz setting on the Keurig B60 - the coffee tasted great.
Tully's K-Cups Availability
Now the Tully's K-Cups won't be available for a little while - according to Jason at Keurig:
I just wanted to mention that Keurig is very excited about Tully's as a new roaster offering K-Cups for our Keurig brewers. For those of you who are anxiously awaiting availability - while I can't give you an exact date - you can expect them very, very soon!
We're going to give Tully's French Roast a solid 4.5 and the Kona Blend medium roast a solid 4.5 cups. These are great coffees - so just hang in there - they'll be out soon and worth the wait.

I have been living on D&H French Roast and GJ Mudslide for quite some time now (mixing in 7-8 others that are good, just not as good to my taste buds). I can't wait to try the Tulley's
Thanks for the heads up, now the waiting game begins!!!
Did you happen to get any of the decaf french roast? I actually hope it is not as good, otherwise I may have to take out a second job if I start drinking that much decaf at night!
