First Impressions: Nescafe Coffee Pods with Toppings

Wendy from Typical Dutch Stuff has sent over the newly released Nescafe Coffee Pods with toppings. These new pods are a totally new concept because each box contains 8 individually wrapped coffee pods and 8 individually wrapped toppings. You place the pod in the machine and the topping in your cup. You then stir through the coffee when it is still brewing and enjoy a cappuccino, cafe au lait, or chocolate coffee, for only €0.62 or roughly 0.74 USD a cup before shipping.
We've been sampling the three different flavors over the past few days and wanted to give first impressions on this interesting set of pods and toppings. First of all - putting the powder into the cup and watching the machine brew up a cup while the hot coffee goes into the large pile of powder isn't that appealing to look at but the results are tasty. We don't think any of these are the best Cafe Late we've ever had or the best Cappuccino but they're light years ahead of the Home Cafe Cappuccino.
What's interesting is how the toppings are not really toppings but more like filler to the overall cup and really make the coffee a bit thicker and have a milk flavor right out of the single serve coffee maker. This makes the toppings really a supporting cast instead of an overbearing flavor.
We'll have a full review soon.

I think these are going to be big - it tastes good but the topping is just a gimmick. I recommend them though
