The Single Serve Coffee We're Drinking

Img 1446

We often forget how many different types of coffee we try and never really write about in a single article. So, we thought, "How are we going to fix that?" Well, it's pretty easy. Starting each month we'll be publishing the coffees, teas, and espressos we're just enjoying here at Single Serve Coffee.

To start it off this month, we can give you the run down per machine for Tassimo, Keurig, Coffee Pod Brewers, Flavia, Nespresso, and ESE Espresso machines.

Tassimo

Addicted to the Seattle's Best Henry's and Breakfast blends. We did write up a review over a month ago on this nearly perfect Tassimo T Discs and we love the fact we can go to our local target and buy boxes and boxes of these.

Keurig

Actually we've been drinking almost exclusively Van Houtte over the past month. This morning we're sampling their Kenyan blend and Eclipse blend. Both blends are very good and we like the medium to darkish coffee we're getting. Also, we like the box designs of the Van Houtte coffee.

Coffee Pods

We've been sampling various coffees from Gourmet Cafe. We've also been drinking a bunch of Aloha Island Coffee pods we ordered to just treat ourself right. What are we using? We are still using the Senseo Supreme and the Bunn My Cafe. We still think the Bunn My Cafe is the easiest and most reliable coffee pod machine we have in the SIngle Serve Coffee Test kitchen.

FLAVIA Fusion Drinks Station

We're finishing up the rest of the intense Dark Roast coffee and that's going to be the end of the line for Flavia testing for awhile. We like the drinks station but have to make room to test the Nespresso C100T Essenza.

Nespresso

Yes - we know. We have the C100T Essenza in for review and have been going through the entire sampler pack along with some Nespresso Variations. There's not much to say except this about Nespresso, "Easy and really good."

Espresso Related

We just bought an entire case of CAfresso to review from Podhead.com. We have liked their coffee pods in the past and think we can't but find something we like in 110 espresso pods to share with you. CAFresso is supposed to be the mid-ground between espresso and coffee, so we even went out of our mind and decided to get a Gaggia Baby D Espresso ESE Machine. We'll have full review of that soon too.

That's all for this month, we'll give you the run down next month of what we're drinking. And if you want, put some comments on this article and tell us what you're drinking for single serve coffee.

So which machine do you prefer? I've got a Senseo, but the Keurig looks interesting.
