Review: Nabob 100% Colombian T Discs for Tassimo
We've been enjoying the new Tassimo T Discs that just came out over the past week. First up for impressions? How about the Nabob 100% Colombian Arabica coffee T Discs. If you aren't familiar with the Nabob brand, it's based in Canada and loved throughout the country. There is even a rather large page on Kraft Canada's web site detailing the Nabob coffee brand.
In the past we enjoyed Jacobs Kroenung T Discs that seemed to have a similar coffee flavor note. What you're going to find tasting the Nabob 100% Columbian Arabica Coffee is a very light, smooth tasting coffee. This is not for the dark coffee drinker, nor is it for the medium coffee drinker, this is for the morning at the cabin occasional coffee drinker.
What we really like about the coffee is how it takes us back to those days when our parents would brew up a cup of coffee using the percolator pot and it wasn't perked to death. Yes - we'll admit it - at camp growing up we used to drink perked coffee and it was often made from 100% arabica coffee. And if you're confusing Robusta with Arabica coffee - don't. The Nabob 100% Columbian Arabica T Discs for Tassimo do not have the robusta taste, because robusta and arabica coffees are two different beasts.
The Nabob 100% Colombian T Discs for Tassimo come in 2 - 7 T Disc sleeves totally 14 T DISCs and are priced at $6.29 per package. That's going to bring your total cost per cup at $.44. That's on the high side for what we like to pay, but this is very good coffee. That's right - we really like the Nabob 100% Columbian T Discs for Tassimo, and think it's a great pick for the more casual coffee drinker.
