Looks like coffee pod sales for Senseo are up 30% over this same time last year. That's good news for all of us single serve coffee pod drinkers. We've noticed a much larger coffee pod presence at our local supermarkets, Target's, and other retailers as well. Here's to an amazing 2007 for single serve coffee!

One is an increased focus on the Senseo coffee pod system, designed for single-serve coffee drinkers, which saw sales increase 30% for the first nine months of fiscal 2007. Sara Lee also has introduced a line of cold ready-to-drink coffees for young customers and wants to capitalize on the shift from in-home coffee drinking to out-of-home coffee purchases.

The best deal in Senseo pods isn't online, it is at Target. I've been paying 4.29 for a bag of 16 pods, and most internet sites want over 5.00 per bag, and I don't pay shipping. Even my grocery store (Albertsons) is less than Amazon, et al: 5.29 per bag.

Just thought you'd want to know.

Now if only they would improve their US coffee! I had a bag of espresso senseo from europe and it was really tasty, but not sold here.
Sumatra was passable, but not good
and the kenya blend was pretty gross.
Dark Roast is okay, but still not as good as other pod companies

Archer farms pods from target are great, I use those instead of senseo.

Actually Senseo.com is now shipping to both the US and Canada. Check out their pod info page... http://www.senseo.com/en/SenseoUS/ExperienceSenseo/CoffeePods/

And STILL no Senseo in Canada! Guess I've no choice but continue to make do with Senseo coffee from eBay...
