Fuel Cell Beverage Heater Keeps Your Single Serve Coffee Hot

fuelcellbevheater%20copy.JPG

We like our single serve coffee hot, and if it starts to slip below a certain level of hotness, we often resort to horrible measures like the microwave or just brewing another cup (okay not so horrible). In the future it looks like we'll all benefit from this little device that hangs on the side of your coffee cup and keeps your beverage hot. The Portable Beverage Heater is a molded plastic, single-use device that can be clipped to the side of a mug. It creates heat from solid and organic body form using fuel cell and its thermographic ink changes color to indicate when the beverage is hot.

So far this new coffee mug heater is just a concept from designer Seungheon Lee, but one can hope that in the future this device gets produced to keep all of our coffee a little hotter.
