The Single Serve Coffee We're Drinking for July 2007
Okay - we admit it. We're supposed to do this column monthly, but give us a break - it's Summer and really nice out. Our coffee consumption doesn't really suffer too much in the Summer though, as we like to ice down some coffee drinks, or we may even head to the basement to cool off with a nice espresso in the afternoon. What is the staff here at Single Serve Coffee currently drinking? Let's give you the run down on: Tassimo, Keurig, Coffee Pods, Flavia, Nespresso, and anything espresso related.
We're still addicted to Seattle's Best Tassimo T Discs. We also are enjoying the Gevalia Morning roast and the Chai Tea Latte packs.
As you may or may not know, Caribou Coffee released their entire line of coffees in K Cup form. They're good and we've enjoyed the Daybreak morning blend and also the French roast isn't bad. Green Mountain has also sent us a set of Rhapsody Raspberry K Cups and certain people here at the office really like them iced.
We are currently drinking some pods from e-Coffee Pods. The backpack blend coffee pods aren't bad - a bit roasty if you can use that word. Our coffee pod brewer of choice? Still the Bunn My Cafe and Senseo. Also we did try the Senseo Espresso and it's okay too.
FLAVIA Fusion Drinks Station
We've been trying out the different recipes that Flavia is putting out using their new teas. Very good and very different.
On the Nespresso front - not much new. We're drinking lots of Ristretto (the black colored capsules) and we're waiting anxiously for the Nespresso Lattissima to ship.
We've been using the Gaggia Baby D Espresso ESE Machine with ESE pods sent into us from Espresso Tiamo. The Lucaffe line is what we're drinking. Really solid.
That's it for now - we'll have another round up in late August or early September. And if you want, put some comments on this article and tell us what you're drinking for single serve coffee.
