Review: Emeril's Original Big Easy Bold K-Cup Coffee

Having been to the Big Easy and dined at Emeril's restaurant very near Harrah's Casino, we were very excited to have a little taste of New Orleans grace our single serve coffee cup. Emeril's Original Big Easy Bold K-Cup Coffee is supposed to be a dark and intense cup of single serve coffee for your Keurig Elite B40 Brewer, Keurig B50, Keurig Special Edition Ultra Elite B60, and the Keurig B70 Brewer. How intense and delicious is it?

We're really impressed with this coffee. The overall flavor, aroma, and quality of the coffee is quite good. The coffee is also for dark K Cup coffee drinkers only. The profile of the roast is nothing short of a black hole of coffee, but it doesn't suffer from being burnt or too intense. The overall mouth feel is also very good - round and a bit sharp in the back of the throat with a lingering rich flavor. We really like the Emeril's Original Big Easy Bold K-Cup Coffee and think if you're a dark coffee drinker you'll love it too.

• Aroma - 9 - rich and interesting
• Acidity - 8 - a near perfect match - maybe a bit much for light drinkers
• Body - 9 - full and intense - can we say we want to drink the entire box?
• Flavor - 8 - delicious and interesting
• Mouth Feel - 7 - good but the biting in the back of the throat may be too intense for some
• Coffee Drinker - Dark coffee drinker. This is a very dark intense cup of strong coffee

Overall Rating: 86 - Good

We really like this coffee and it ranks high for a very intense coffee. Don't go for this coffee if your a medium to light coffee drinker. Congrats to Emeril for getting a great K Cup out there that is very unique and different.
