Review: Fair Trade Autumn Harvest Blend K Cups for Keurig

Looking for something to take the chill off in the cooler Fall weather? Green Mountain Coffee produces seasonal K Cup blends, and Autumn Harvest is one of our favorites. Autumn Harvest blend is also Fair Trade certified, meaning you'll be doing your part to keep coffee growers in business wherever Green Mountain sources the coffees for this blend. The Fair Trade Autumn Harvest Blend K Cups will work in your Keurig Elite B40 Brewer, Keurig B50, Keurig Special Edition Ultra Elite B60, and the Keurig B70 Brewer. Now of course we say it's one of our favorite seasonal K Cups - but how much of a favorite is it?

Green Mountain claims:

Boasting a palette of light and dark roasted coffees nearly as colorful as the Autumn leaves, this special blend offers brisk and smoky flavors perfectly attuned to the season.

We do think the overall flavor and aroma of this coffee is very smooth and delicous. It has a very medium to light taste and texture, and mixed with a little cream and sugar the caramel notes come out. The Autumn Harvest blend also has the feeling of a Fall coffee. This is not dark enough for the darker days of winter, but seems aggressive enough on these cool Fall mornings. You may also want to try the Pumpkin Spice seasonal K Cups for another light but interesting Fall flavored coffee.

Aroma - 9 - mild and interesting
Acidity - 9 - no acid to mess with the great flavors here
Body - 9 - perfect mix of light and medium
Flavor - 9 - caramel like notes with the taste of Fall
Mouth Feel - 7 - not big but not small - could be a bit bigger - mixed with cream and sugar seems right
Coffee Drinker - Light to Medium roast coffee drinker

Overall Rating: 90 - Exceptional
