Hot chocolate or hot cocoa is all the rage for these days for single serve coffee machines. We're really excited to see some innovation in the non-coffee hot beverage space, but just wish these innovations would come to US shores first. Chocomel, a very popular chocolate drink in Europe, is heading to Senseo. The kit for Senseo will include a special holder to use in Senseo when making a cup of Chocomel. We'll let you know if we can get one of these to try out.
We live in the Netherlands, have a Senseo machine and just managed to find the Chocomel starter pack in the shops here. It actually tastes pretty good, not as thick as regular Chocomel and not quite as sweet I think but we liked it. Wonder if we can now manage to find the pods in the shops??!?

My mother gave me her Senseo after enjoying for a year or two. I purchased the Cappuccino pods and the directions said to use the two cup pod holder. I don't have a two pod holder, and when I asked my mother if she might have it stored away she said it didn't come with one. Does anyone know if Deluxe model (which is what I believe I have here) owners can buy this pod holder after the fact?

FYI - Chocomel cup holder is specific to Senseo's HD7800, 7810/12 and 7840 models only.
The cup holder doesn't fit models HD7820, HD7824 and HD7830.

Do not buy or trust Wendy from Typical Dutch Stuff.
Long story short...it took over a month to receive a product that didn't work...Wendy promised a refund on 3/10/2008 it's been over 1 month and no refund. Email go unanswered...

Not seeing much progress on these coming to North America. Any word? I noticed Philips has troubleshooting information for the item, but says they don't support it, since it wasn't developed in conjunction with them. Friesland's store lets you order IF you're in the Netherlands, that is.
