Nespresso C100T Essenza Single Serve Espresso and Coffee Machine
The Nespresso C100T Essenza is still one of our most used and favorite single serve espresso and coffee machines here at Single Serve Coffee. It's one of the most affordable Nespresso machines as well at just over $200, and has a very tiny footprint on your countertop. We also just really like the way the Nespresso C100T Essenza looks - a nice flowing top along with a perfect set of colors in a matte finish. If you're wondering what the big change is from the Nespresso C90 to the Nespresso C100T Essenza, it's the ability to program an espresso and lungo sized coffee on the two coffee buttons that appear on the front of the machine.
Overall features are:
- High-pressure pump (19 bars)
- Thermoblock heating element
- Programmable and automatic control of the amount of coffee in the cup
- Functional handle allows for easy coffee preparation
- Automatic ejection of used capsules on lifting the handle
- Collection container for used capsules
- Removable water tank (1L capacity)
- ABS housing

Mr. Brewer, I have some questions about the Essenza C100T. On May 14, 2006, you posted a note that revealed the new C100 was essentially an upgrade to the C90 in that it had automatic portioning. Later, on January 30, 2007, you posted a note that the C100T had arrived for review, and you completed your review in May of 2007. When was this machine actually available for purchase? E-commerce websites like www.amazon.com and www.nextag.com indicate that it was around April 2006.
