More Tassimo from Bosch Sightings - Pictures and Video

SH from Canada is at it again with even more interesting thoughts on the new Tassimo designed and created by Bosch. He's noticed a Flickr gallery of photos taken by one of the bloggers at the Tassimo Bosch brunch event.

The blogger's name is Cyril Attias and he has a ton of pictures:

One picture has piqued his curiosity....

From SH: Notice anything missing? No water run-off spout! Unless the spout has been moved further below so that it's covered by the cup stand, I'll take a wild guess that maybe this new Tassimo no longer leaks water. Remember, this is all just pure speculation on my behalf. Also interesting, water reservoir is the width of the machine (explains how they made it 2L) and it appears there's holes integrated into the lid so that you can fill water while the lid is still on.

Last but not least, a video from Mr. Attias which better shows the machine in action (takes a minute to load):

We're praying Kraft can somehow make arrangements with Bosch to get these machines in North American stores before September 2008. Why should France have all the fun almost 6 months before us?

A few questions:

1) Is it quieter than the current version?
2) Is the water chamber smaller?

I can not confirm colors at this point since the machines aren't even in production yet. What would be safe to say is that the base colors will be out first and then colors thereafter ... when that will happen I think is anyones guess. Remember with Bosh ... it's better quality that is for sure however it will be at a fair price and not always a higher price...I'll let you know more as it gets closer to launch ... :)

Awesome! This Bosch machine is getting more kick-arse by the minute.

Thanks for confirming this Jim. As for the $139 Euros pricing, I was basing that off of the "Prix public indicatif" (estimated retail value?) on the "Lots" section of tassimo-bosch.fr website. I realize pricing may change once the machine nears European launch. Plus, as you noted, Bosch is high-quality, so higher quality usually = higher price.

One more question, then I'll stop bugging you ;-) Can you confirm if the 4 new colors will be made available in North America or if we'll only get the silver one? I would reeeally love that glamour red model.

Still kinda annoyed that we have to wait until September before we get it though, but hey, as they say in France "C'est la vie" :-P

Can't wait to see what kind of new T-Discs Kraft has planned for later this year as well (did I mention how much I envy your ability to preview items before launch?)

If you're ever looking for a Canadian T-Disc "tester/reviewer", let me know eh?

Well I can confirm no more water running over you counter top when using travel mugs... :) Although I can not tell you yet what the MSRP will be here in the US I will tell you that you will be pleased. Do keep in mind that this is Bosh ... top quality... nothing less. Since this machine has not launched in Europe the MSRP has yet to be announced.

Hello Mr. Coffeewiz,

How I envy your ability to preview Tassimo items long before they launch on retail shelves :-)

So it's true then? No more water running all over the counter top when using travel mugs? Praise be to Bosch if that's truly the case. Just that feature alone makes me want to buy the new machine ASAP.

Can you confirm if North American MSRP will remain at $210 (based on conversion rate of $139 euros MSRP in France)or will it be $150 USD to match current Braun pricing?

Also, thanks to Mr. Brewer for continuing to post my "news" submissions. Much appreciated.

Well .. I had the pleasure of seeing this machine yesterday for the first time and all I can say is .. WOW!! It's going to be worth the wait. No water runoff ... and Bosh quality. If you ever had a Bosh product you know that quality is number one... whisper quiet with many nice features.
