Keurig B40 Single Cup Brewer - The $99 Keurig K Cup Brewer

One question we get all the time is, "What Keurig K Cup Single Serve Coffee Brewer is right for me?" Well, one way to answer that question is on price and features. It's really hard to beat the Keurig B40 Single Serve Coffee brewer at $99 on price, and the features on the Keurig B40 won't turn you away either.

Basically as you go up in price with the Keurig line with the Keurig B60 and B70 you get auto-on, a clock, different brew sizes, and some blue LED and stainless steel accents on the Keurig brewers. If you aren't looking for any of those bells and whistles, then the Keurig B40 is perfect for you (please read our thoughts and impressions on the Keurig B40 and B60 to get even more details).

The only exception to the upcoming Keurig B40 is the Keurig Mini B30. We love the Keurig Mini B30, but we think it's perfect for your office, camp, or if you really only drink one cup of single serve coffee per day. We think refilling the water reservoir on the Mini makes for the extra $20 bucks - the B40 a better bet.

The Keurig B40 produces the same quality cup of single serve coffee that the Keurig B50, Keurig Special Edition Ultra Elite B60, Keurig B70 Brewer, Breville BKC600XL Gourmet Single Cup Brewer, and other Keurig K Cup brewers do.

Here's the list of features of the Keurig B40:

  • Two brew sizes: 7.25 and 9.25-oz. cups
  • Removable 48-oz. water reservoir
  • Easy-clean plastic drip tray
  • Automatic shut-off option
  • Water level sensor.

We can't but recommend the Keurig B40 for it's value and price. You'll get into the world of single serve coffee for only $99, and you'll have the ability to use over 200+ K Cups and the Reusable My K Cup coffee filter as well.

BJ's Wholesale also has the Keurig B50 Ultra which comes with 72 bonus K-Cups (check their website for more info) all for $130. It features a blue LCD area, programmable on/off times, same 2 drink sizes.

If you're a BJ's member, might be worth checking out during your next store visit.
