Top 10 Best Selling Single Serve Coffee Makers - December 2008

singleservecoffeemakers.jpg

December and November make this list totally different as we see how much the list changes when new consumers buy single serve coffee makers for gifts this holiday season. The Aeropress from Aerobie is now #3 with 5 of the top ten list getting consumed with Keurig designed single serve coffee makers. This isn't surprising given the fact Keurig is running national TV ads, along with a very large presence online and offline. The Bosch Tassimo Suprema Hot Beverage System finally makes the top 10 list, and the older model continues to sell well. We'll have more updates in January with how this all plays out - but it's an impressive change over the last few months.

What's up with all the k-cup coffee makers in your top 10? Is this a rejection of pod coffee makers in general? Where's the OPOD, GPOD, or Bunn MyCafe in your line-up? I own an OPOD and it's a fantastic machine. I don't see how you could keep it (or some other pod coffee maker) out of your top 10.

How are the Top 10 Makers' Sales determined? i.e. is there a way to get some numbers on total machine sales for the different makers?
