Breville BKC700XL Gourmet Single Serve Coffee Maker - Now with Quiet Brew Technology

Breville has updated their K-Cup brewer with the ultra quiet brew technology. This has to be our only complaint about the previous model - it was loud. The Breville Gourmet Single Serve Coffee Maker also features a powerful 1,500-watt heating element brews coffee efficiently fast to five different brew sizes. It has a Sleek stainless-steel design. Also new is the iced beverage function which dispenses a concentrated 3-1/2-ounce shot of tea or coffee. Dilute with ice and add water, milk or sweeteners for an iced tea or coffee.
Accessories include charcoal water filter, My K-CUP for your own roast, measuring scoop, 18 K-Cup variety pack. One of the best features about the Breville Gourmet Single Serve Coffee maker is the integrated My K-Cup and spoon - it's just too cool to pop open the top and store it away.

I purchased my BKC700XL about a month ago and today it was having an issue heating the water. It says it is heating, but when it's ready to brew, it produces a room temperature beverage. Suddenly, after running water through it several times with no luck, it started actually heating and working properly. What gives?
This machine is beautiful and I absolutely love it...when it works. I am about to return my second Breville BKC700XL as it turns its power off on its own during the heating cycle. Each machine lasted approximately three weeks before the problem became intolerable. Has anyone else had this issue? Hopefully the third machine will be better, if not then I am going to have to find another brand :( too bad, because I feel the Breville model is the most aesthetically pleasing.
Got one of these recently. Had it about a week and so far am loving it. It replaced a Keurig model that had significant problems. Though I was unhappy with that particular model, I am very pleased with the service I received from Kuerig to fix the problem. This brew is a bit pricey, but it is a nicer looking and better performing machine than my previous one. If you can get over the price, I recommend this to you.
This product makes good coffee, but there is a major design flaw causing a safety hazard! While the website shows a soft blue light emitting from the buttons, in reality there is a blinding white light that emits when looking directly at the buttons. If you have children this is exactly at your childs eye height and could cause severe eye damage to your child. The company will not refund your purchase nor fix the issue. Buyer Beware!
