Caffe Inn - Concept Nespresso Espresso Machine Made for Super Heroes

Yep - that's right it's a concept designed by Frenchman Charles Teyssier which seeks to replace Tony Stark's super heart with a Nespresso machine coffee heart. Seems like a decent trade off to me, but other than the looks there's not much more here. Then again, Nespresso machines are always the most interesting and best looking espresso machines we see, and we love the round design reminiscent of the new Dolce Gusto design. I have to say that this design is ghastly. Based on comparison to the arm in the picture, it appears to be quite huge. I think the distance from coffee outlet to cup would cause lots of splattering.

I could see this in an episode of Buck Rogers that starred Gil Gerard. Perhaps some massaging of the design could make it more appealing.

It's too bad some of these neat concept designs never make it to market. Some are exponentially better/more desirable than the stock designs currently available. There was another one several months ago which seemed really sharp... the Nespresso Pearl. The new Nescafé Dolce Gusto Circolo gives me hope though that futuristic designs are not too far away from becoming reality.
