Moon Coffee Table Book - A Giant Leap for Your Wallet

This reissue of a Norman Mailer tome, Moonfire (the Apollo book to rival all other Apollo books), comes in an aluminum case, sports a quartet Apollo11 lunar lander legs, and has a rumpled up its front cover to resemble the moon's surface. And what else could make it even more amazing? How about a specially-designed Marc Newson case containing an actual lunar rock.

The real price to all of this lunar madness? How about $90,500. There's a cheaper version for $1,500 that just doesn't impress as it's really just mostly well - the book. Only 1969 copies available - so order now! :-)

Actually, it comes with a framed photo that is signed by an astronaut, Buzz Aldrin. No 24k gold ink though. Probably signed with a Fisher Space Pen!
The book sans lunar rock and gimmicks streets for about $900. Yeah, it's expensive. Still, Apollo was pretty important to a lot of us. It was an achievement that's never been, and may never be equaled.
This is really impressive & is sure to appeal to space fanatics & geek culture in general, but damnnnn... for almost $91k, I'd expect the actual astronauts to have signed the frickin thing with 24 karat gold ink!
