Canon L Lens Look-Alike Travel Coffee Mug - More Than Meets the Eye
We like to think of this Canon travel mug as the transformers of coffee mugs. This deceptive lens looking travel mug was handed out at the Vancouver Olympic games. Josh Weisberg, director of the Microsoft Rich Media Group, got one at the Olympic Press Center, and sent the above photograph of it to PDNPulse. Alas - they are not for sale to the general public, but perhaps you can write Canon and tell them how much you want one. We'd like one too.

It appears that you WILL be able to buy these coffee mugs. From nerdapproved.com :
If you recall, I recently lamented the fact that these Canon 70-to-200mm L-series white lens coffee mugs were given to reporters at the Olympic Press Center, but were not available to the general public. This isn’t the first time the concept of integrating lens and mug has been toyed with, but up until this point no actual products have materialized.
Well, it seems that Canon was preparing to offer it all along—the mugs are now available for pre-order as a Canon Canada exclusive priced at $30 CAD or $29 US. Shipping starts on April 16th.
