Tassimo T20 Single Serve Coffee and Hot Beverage System

We've had several reader write ins that they've seen the Tassimo T20 Hot Beverage System in their local Target. We were under the impression the Tassimo T45 model would have a longer shelf life, but it looks like the Tassmio T20 will now take over the price point at $99. Reader impressions are the quality of the machine is not the same as the Tassimo T20 Hot Beverage System, and the new cup stand is a bit flimsy. We'll have to get a Tassimo T20 ourselves and do a review soon.

  • Comes in White and Black
  • 1.5 litre tank which should mean that you don't need to refill constantly
  • Water is only heated on demand and the Tassimo T20 Hot Beverage System goes into stand-by mode when not in use.
  • As well as coffee, cappuccino, espresso and macchiato drinks from Carte Noir, Kenco, Seattle's Best, and Starbucks the Tassimo Tassimo T20 Hot Beverage System can also make Milka hot chocolate, Starbucks House Blend and Twinings English Breakfast Tea.
  • The main parts of the T20 can be taken apart and put in the dishwasher.
  • There is a compartment for the quick-start manual and cable storage.

Hi Jay,
I wanted to post this because I just bought the T20 and the T45 to compare. First, I am a MCP owner for the last 4 years, my MCP just shorted out and I am waiting for the replacement from Bunn. Originally I bought the T45 first, found the T20 at Target cheaper and bought that one too - with the intention of returning the T45. However...I set up the T20, ran through the initial cleaning and setup per the manuf. instructions. I then brewed my first cup. After waiting for the amber 'ok' light, I opened the disk holder and coffee grounds went everywhere - and in my coffee. Plus my coffee was weak. Being a Newbie to Tassimo, I tried 2 more cups with this. I made sure the bar code was smooth, the disk was seated right, and that I waited for the amber light - All 3 resulted in the same as above. At this point, being somewhat disappointed, I opened the T45 and set it up ( per manuf. instructions) and ran th 4th disk. It came out perfect, no grounds. A great cup of coffee. So I am not sure if i just got a Lemon from target with the t20 or if it is just not as a good model. Plus, I went and found the t45 for 86$ at Bed Bath and beyond with their 20% off coupon and the manuf. rebate of $50 that is going on right now... I plan on looking up how i can make a bigger cup of coffee if thats an option.. if not, i will probably keep the t45 and wait for my MCP refurb from bunn..

I do not think the white is available just yet as according to my sources the black is the only one available.
