Looks like the great white north is indeed following the single serve coffee trend, and starting to buy more and more single serve coffee. According to the market research company The NPD Group, single-serve coffee makers have increased in popularity with sales showing a 103-per-cent jump in 2009. Further to this, more than one-third of Canadians are buying less coffee or specialty beverages away from home.
Indeed we'd like to note we have a ton of daily Canadian readers here at Single Serve Coffee, and if you've noticed we try and always offer where our Canadian friends can purchase their single serve coffee.
So drink up Canadian neighbors, and enjoy the world of hot beverages and single serve coffee! T-Disc or K-Cup? We think they'll try both.

Yes, I've had my Keurig now for 18 months and my Bunn My Cafe for close to one year and I haven't looked back. I very rarely visit a coffee shop even though there's a Timmy's close by. SSC is the way to go, no fuss and especially no mess to clean up. I do most of my purchasing on line even though Metro our grocery store has a good selection of VH K-cups. I use to be the only one with a Keurig and it was a novelty for my friends when they came over. Now some of them have taken the plunge and haven't regretted it.
As a Canuck I am proud to say that I own both a Keurig and a Senseo. Since I live in a small city, its tough to get my hands Senseo pods..but I found a little Dutch store in a larger city that stocks them. The K-cups however are a little easier to aquire...now. Funny story...when I first got my machine 2 years ago...no stores sold K-Cups here. I had to chase down the Van Houtte coffee truck that delivered to commercial locations and buy them out of the back of the truck. Thankfully that has changed and I persuaded a few stores here to carry them. But I prefer to order online since it works out to be cheaper.
