Brew Over Ice K-Cup Portion Packs Now Include Two More Ways to Enjoy the Sweet Flavors of the Season

Sweet Berry Lime Green Iced Tea and Sweet Tropical Breeze White Iced Tea K-Cups Brew Directly Over Ice

WATERBURY, Vt.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The cool refreshment of tropical breezes and sweet summer berries are now within easy reach of anyone looking for a respite from the heat. The Specialty Coffee Business Unit of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMCR) has added two new iced tea varieties to its line of Brew Over Ice K-Cup® portion packs.

“With our Brew Over Ice K-Cups>, you get icy cold refreshment within seconds, without having to wait for steeping or cooling.”

Sweet Berry Lime Green Iced Tea and Sweet Tropical Breeze White Iced Tea K-Cups® are Celestial Seasonings® Teas specifically designed to brew directly over ice with a Keurig® Single-Cup Brewer. Advanced technology allows each K-Cup to hold the perfect amount of tea to create a cool, refreshing brew at the touch of a button.

“Fresh-brewed iced tea has always been a summer favorite, but it’s always been a little time-consuming,” said Joel White, Director of Product Marketing for GMCR’s Specialty Coffee Business Unit. “With our Brew Over Ice K-Cups, you get icy cold refreshment within seconds, without having to wait for steeping or cooling.”

Sweet Berry Lime Green Iced Tea is a satisfying fusion of smooth green tea, sweet juicy berry flavor, and a potent splash of lime. Sweet Tropical Breeze White Iced Tea is a white tea with tantalizing flavors like passion fruit and papaya. Both are perfectly sweetened with all-natural cane sugar and created to satisfy the growing consumer interest in green and white teas.

GMCR’s Specialty Coffee Business Unit unveiled its Brew Over Ice K-Cups last summer with four Celestial Seasonings iced teas: Sweet Lemon Black Tea, Sweet Peach Black Tea, Sweet Raspberry Black Tea, and Unsweetened Black Tea. While they were very well received, consumer feedback suggested they could be just a little bit sweeter. The recipe for each flavor was adjusted slightly and now all four improved flavors are available individually and in a Perfect Iced Tea K-Cup variety pack.

The complete selection of Brew Over Ice K-Cups is available online at www.GreenMountainCoffee.com or www.Keurig.com. A box of 22 K-Cups sells for $14.95. Go to www.BrewOverIce.com to see how they work.
