The Mr. Coffee BVMC-KG1 Single Serve Brewing System is powered by Keurig brewing technology for coffee house quality at home. We've been waiting a long time for this brewer to debut, and the $79.99 price point is a welcome addition to the Keurig lineup of single serve and one cup coffee brewers.

The Mr. Coffee BVMC-KG1 Single Serve Brewing System is compatible with Keurig K-Cup portion packs, and features a single cup 8-Ounce brewing capacity much like the Keurig Mini Plus. To make a cup of coffee with the Mr. Coffee BVMC-KG1 Single Serve Brewing System you simply pour over from your coffee mug the 8 oz of water into the back, close the water area, and put a K-Cup in the brewing slot. Next push the button, and the brewer will heat the water and brew you a cup of single serve coffee.

Other features of the Mr. Coffee BVMC-KG1 Single Serve Brewing System include a removable drip tray, and a on and off indicator light. We'll get one of these brewers to review very soon, and we want to welcome Mr. Coffee to the world of K-Cup single serve coffee.

I just read on another message board that if you remove the k-cup holder by pushing it up (instructions in manual) then the My K-cup Keurig reusable filter will fit.

Bob, the point of getting a single cup coffee maker is to brew only a single cup very quickly, as these machines do, it is not necessarily to have to use the overpriced K-cups. They are overpriced and wasteful. I agree with Grace that it seems shortsighted that this version is not compatible with the reusable filter for those of us who wish to have the convenience of brewing a single cup of coffee quickly (2 minutes vs 7 in my old machine) but I personally have no desire to spend the additional money on each individual and, in my personal opinion, wasteful package. But that is my opinion and my choice. Personal criticism is also not necessary or useful in this forum.

Grace, what is wrong with you? You buy a Keurig K-Cup machine and then complain that you "hate the waste of the K-Cups"??? Really? Isn't that a little like vacationing at the beach and saying you don't like the ocean!!

The K-Cups ARE the reason why you buy one of these machines!!! Duh??

...and BTW, the Keurig system probably has more coffee brand and flavor variations than any other single-serve on the market today. Do your homework deary!!

I just purchased the Mr. Coffee Keurig system at Bed Bath & Beyond - boy, was I happy! I found it on the clearance rack as an open-box return, for 50%, with the reason described as "Customer Dissatisfied". I tried it at home, with a K-Cup flavored coffee, and everything worked great. I saw the reusable filter at BB&B too, so I purchased it on a second trip, excited that I had this option ........ And then I got home and tried to fit the reusable filter in the Mr. Coffee Keurig.

No go. It does not fit. At all (even when you take it out of the filter casing, as there is that puncture-tool to deal with). What a huge disappointment! I hate the waste of the K-Cups, and the limitations on Brands. How short-sighted of Mr. Coffee & Keurig to combine their brands, but not have a compatible (or comparable) reusable filter available!
