Peet's Coffee Coming Soon in K-Cups?

peets.jpg

There's a new K-Cup speculation in town - Peet's Coffee might be doing K-Cups soon. Shares of Emeryville, CA based Peet's Coffee & Tea jumped again last week when a Janney Capital analyst speculated Peet's would join Green Mountain's Keurig platform for sales of single-cup coffee and hot cocoa in their K-Cup format.

What do we think? We think it's very possible Peet's would join the K-Cup world and given Starbuck's reluctance to get into K-Cups, perhaps this is a great way for Peet's to leap frog over them? Who knows - it's all rumors but exciting none the less.
