Handpresso Saves the Day During Hurricane Irene

pack-wild-ese.jpg

Our Handpresso - the portable espresso maker saved the day for some espresso shots and an americano or two during yesterday's storm. As Hurricane Irene pounded down on us here in Boston we quickly lost power after a giant branch fell from a nearby tree. Luckily we have a gas stove, so we were able to boil some water and use our Handpresso Wild to make lots of yummy espresso shots to get us through the storm.

If you've never used a Handpresso (read our full review over at Single Serve Epresso) - all it needs is boiling hot water, and an ESE espresso pod to get the job done. You then just pump up the Handpresso like a bike pump, and it then has enough pressure to produce espresso with great crema on top. Yummy.

Thanks again to Handpresso for making such a great product, and it's not just for Hurricanes as we've taken ours on vacation, camping trips, and to those not so coffee endowed relatives so we can get a decent cup.
