SunCana Coffee Pod Brewer Upgraded

suncana_brewer.jpg

The SunCana coffee pod brewer might look like the older Sun Cafe coffee pod brewer, but we can assure you it's not the same under the hood. After SunCana reached out to us and sent us their upgraded coffee pod brewer to check out we found that many of our complaints about this brewer model had been fixed.

First and foremost is now has a removable cup tray to allow to use up to 16oz travel mug. And the biggest complaint of the previous versions of this brewer has also been fixed.

The coffee pod holder is made of stainless steel instead of plastic pod holder which extracts a better cup of coffee, allows for use of 12g pods, and it's BPA free. Also with the stainless steel pod holder, the consistency of the cup size for brewing from 10g coffee pods, 12g coffee pods and tea pods has been improved a great deal.

We'll be using the SunCana Coffee pod brewer over the next week, and SunCana is also sending over another coffee pod holder to try out that will be shipping with their brewers in the coming months as well.

Hi. Does anyone know if the new stainless steel pod drawer will fit in the older Suncafe brewer? I can't seem to get an answer from the company. Thanks.

Nice looking machine. How does this updated unit compare to the Bunn MCP? I love my MCP but would open to a new single pod if it had better overall extraction, or as a less expensive machine to have at the office.
