President's Choice West Coast Dark Roast Gourmet Single Serve Coffee Pods

presidentschoicekeurigcompatiblecapsules.jpg

President's Choice is not content to offer it's own line of Tassimo T-Discs, and has entered the Keurig compatible coffee pod market in Canada. We do find the messaging confusing - are they K-Cup compatible or are they for coffee pod brewers. Well - the devil is in the details. These single serve coffee pods will fit most of the Keurig K-Cup brewers out there, and are very much like the Roger's Family OneCup line of Keurig compatible portion packs.

You can expect arabica beans, specially selected and roasted to deliver a bold and intense coffee with a heady aroma, full body and rich flavor. We've yet to try these, but we'll see if our Canadian correspondent can head over to a local supermarket and pick some up.

Interesting. I was tempted to try their Tassimo coffees, but that would have required me to dig our Tassimo brewer out of storage.

I'll have to give these a go.

Correction from previous post... "seen" instead of "seem".

Also, yes, if I ever happen to find these around local grocery stores, I'll pick them up for future review.

I was completely unaware of these and have not yet seem them on store shelves.

Kudos to Loblaws/President's Choice for doing this as they're no longer excluding Keurig users from being able to experience their coffees.

This is quite awesome as I can't recall a company ever offering their coffees to BOTH Tassimo and Keurig users at the same time.

They're breaking the norm by doing this, so lets hope more companies take this approach :-)
