Do You Have Trouble with Non-Licensed K-Cups When Brewing?

Walmart great value exlodingKcups

We've gotten a bunch of write ins and this picture from AB regarding the Walmart Great Value K-Cups exploding in a K-Cup brewer when used. Have you had these issues? When you see pictures like above it makes us think the Keurig brewed seal is probably a bit more important than you thought.

We had no problem until the last batch of Kirkland K cup we bought. The inner filter is too restrictive. Water goes thru very slowly. It backs up sometimes.

I have been using Costco's Kirkland coffee and at least every fourth Kcup explodes. This doesn't seem to happen with other brands and the Kirkland coffee does bear the Official Keurgig seal. No one seems to want to address this issue and no one seems to be willing to replace the Kcups. Any suggestions???

I have been using the Wal-Mart brand K cup for a wile and never had any issues and I find the coffee to taste as well as any name brand out there.

P.S. Consumer Reports rates it very high.

I've used three different non-official Kcups (including San Francisco and Costco's Kirkland brand) without a single problem. Sure sounds like FUD to me.

We've been using San Francisco Bay OneCup pods for months, and have never had a single problem.

Walmart's Great Value brand is garbage in almost every way, should come at no surprise they can't hit very basic engineering parameters.

Wasted $6 today on great value's freaking cups. The picture doesn't do the mess justice, although it is pretty close. May pitch the remaining 11, or take them back to Walmart tomorrow. Never buying Great Value coffee again!

I've used Great Value, Wide Awake, Food Club and San Francisco and have never had a problem. In fact, the only time I can remember this happening was on one Green Mountain a while back.

I haven't had any issues with the Gevalia K-Cups...

We haven't tried the Walmart brand but this happens all the time to us with the licensed product. We've just stopped using Kcups completely.

We haven't had any problems. But we don't sell Walmart coffee. They always buy the cheapest product possible so it's not a surprise at all. Try any Mother Parker's RealCups. Marleys, Brown Gold, Higgins & Burke, second Cup. All brew awesome and NOT available at Walmart. Walmart is all about cheaper, not quality.
