Starbucks Discontinues ESE Espresso Pods

Starbucks had discontinued their ESE espresso pods to help alleviate all the confusion customers were having between their Verismo coffee pods and the ESE ones. It's kind of obvious to us here at Single Serve Coffee which one was for an ESE machine and which one might work in your Verismo but we understand Starbuck's side. We haven't seen a box of ESE pods in store in a few weeks so if they're out there - you might want to get your last box.

You can read our article from 2005 about these wonders of the Single Serve World which lasted 8 years on the market. Even back then there was confusion on what type of coffee pod brewer these would work in. A special thanks to Mike for sending this tip in.
