How Much Caffeine is in that Cup of Coffee?

I'm always wondering how much caffeine is in my cup of coffee every day. I always feel that Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts are equivalents with Dunkin Donuts always seeming to have more caffeine. Well I was wrong. It looks like Dunkin' Donuts only has 12.7mg of cafe per fluid ounce, and Starbucks tops out at 20.6 mg / fl. oz. That means Starbucks knows how to do their job and caffeinate all the coffee junkies properly including myself.

There's of course always Deathwish Coffee at 54.2 mg / fl. oz but I think I don't have a death wish and I'm not really into dying for a cup of coffee. And if you've ever wondered why McDonald's coffee continues to suck big wind - just look at the measly amount of caffeine at 9.1 mg / fl. oz for drinking a cup of their flavored water.

I'm going to stick with Starbucks when I'm out, and I also do enjoy a cup of Peet's from time to time.

Wouldn't there be vastly different amounts of caffeine in different Starbucks blends? I thought that lighter roasts tended to have more caffeine (because the roasting process destroys it) so a Starbucks Blonde will have more kick than their dark roast of the day. Has anyone checked/compared?
