Cafejo My French-Press with K-Cup Pod and Ground Coffee Adaptors Review
The Cafejo My French-Press with K-Cup Pod and Ground Coffee Adaptors is the the only manual, French-press style, single-cup brewing system that brews cups, pods, caplets, and ground coffee. We've been using the Cafejo My French-Press exclusively over the past 2 weeks, and we're impressed. We've been brewing various cups of coffee using K-Cups, Pod Adaptors, and reusable coffee filters and all the single serve coffee produced has been excellent.
Designed with turbulence and extraction of coffee in mind, you simply use hot water or microwave the microwave safe pitcher included to a brewing temperature of 195° to 205° Fahrenheit. You can even brew with hot milk and make lattes, cappuccinos and hot chocolate too.
- BPA Free Dishwasher Safe Microwavable pitcher
- Brews up to 10 ounces Brews with Hot Water or Milk
- Includes: Cup Holder, Pod Adaptor, Ground Coffee Adaptor which can be used in Keurig machines
We feel on average we got a much better extraction than using our Breville K-Cup brewer on a head to head comparison. The darker roasts were darker and the flavored coffees richer. Because you can push as slowly as you want, the extraction and brewing method is under your control.
Pour in some hot water after the K-Cup is inserted into the bottom brewing area.
Now you can put the pitcher which acts like a plunger in the top of the press.
After about 30-40 seconds you have an amazingly dark cup of single serve coffee from the Cafejo My French Press.
You pour it over into your coffee cup and amazing coffee awaits you.
We tried brewing with hot milk using a coconut flavored coffee and the results were excellent.
Very buttery and very rich coffee was produced and it was simply different and unexpected it would turn out so good.
Clean up is also very easy. Taking out the K-Cup or reusable filter is quick with a snap and twist. We found washing up and rinsing the Cafejo My French Press single cup brewer was quick and the appearance after washing it over the course of several weeks is still bright and clear.
Also if you don't want to pay $80-150 for a K-Cup brewer and want to brew with K-Cups at just under $40 dollars, the My French Press from Cafejo is a really great deal. Since it also comes with a ground coffee adaptor, you can have the best of both the ground and single cup brewing worlds. It's also not going to fall apart, or the pump get clogged - etc. from brewing.
We highly recommend the Cafejo My French-Press with K-Cup Pod and Ground Coffee Adaptors. It just makes sense someone would invent a single cup brewer french press, and we're glad Cafejo did.
