K-Cup and Ground Coffee Brewer - Bunn MCU Single Cup Multi-Use Brewer

Bunn Multi Use My Cafe Brewer Uses K Cups

The BUNN MCU Single Cup Multi-Use Brewer is designed to provide freshly brewed coffee (ground, K-Cups, or soft) or tea (bags, pods or loose) in less than one minute. If you simply want hot water, it will do that for you too. It is a single serve coffee maker, letting you choose a serving size suitable for your personal taste - between 4 and 14 ounces.

To describe this unit in a word, it is versatility. Whatever coffee you choose to use, or whatever form it may be in, the Bunn MCU Single Cup Multi-Use Brewer meets the need. One form that is particularly amazing about this unit is that it can handle K-Cups. What his means is that you do not have to be tied into any one particular brand of coffee brewer to use your K-Cups. Love my K-Cups, love my Bunn MCU Brewer.

The design may seem a bit odd, as it has 4 separate drawers for the different brewing methods, but that is part of its versatility. What comes with versatility in this unit is simplicity. It does what is says it does, so appeals to those who hate reading user manuals. I do not believe simplifying things is a trade off, just making my life easier.

But what you buy the brewer for is to make coffee! And this Bunn MCU unit does it well regardless of your preference of coffee type or packaging. It also can handle Ekobrew packs, just put them in the K-Cup drawer.

Cleaning the unit is also simple. Using a standard vinegar and water combination brings great results. Some of the parts can even be put in the dishwasher. Refer to the instruction manual for all the details.

For the technical stuff, the unit is 9.2 by 13.5 by 16.5 inches so it fits quite nicely on your counter, and weighs a little more than11 pounds. It also comes with a 2-year limited warranty.

If you want fresh coffee from a brewer unit in under a minute, the Bunn MCU is the best choice. For versatility, simplicity, and low maintenance, this is the unit that will make your life easier, one cup at a time.

John L - I'm not sure where you live but I have actually seen the MCU at Meijer, Some Target stores and Lowes Hardware. You are right though, it definitely doesn't get the shelf space of the other machines.

I've actually had my machine for about three and a half years , before it was universal. At that time it only came with the pod drawer. When they came out with the three new drawers I ordered them. My favorite drawer is the one for grounds. It's the biggest in the business and lets you put up to 20 grams of coffee in there. The only single serve machine where you can get the proper water to coffee ratio.

I've gone through just about every machine out there and the BUNN is the only one that has earned a permanent spot on our counter. We still use it every day.

I'm super excited to try this machine! Unfortunately, it's painfully difficult to find in local retail stores. Fortunately I found it online, but I wanted to get hands on with the thing before I own one. Still, I'm going to be swapping out my Keurig for this machine just as soon as it arrives on my doorstep.

I picked up the extra drawers several months ago to add to the BUNN I've had for a couple years. My favorite drawer by far is the one for ground coffee. The quality of the black gold that comes out of that thing is insane! I hand grind 18 to 20 grams of single origin beans in a Hario grinder and let it go. No other brewer comes close. The only other drawer I use is the one for hot water. That way I get the perfect temperature water for making a cup of pour over or Aeropress.
