Chefman My Barista Single Serve Coffee Maker - Use K-Cups or Ground Coffee

Chefman my barista k cup brewer

Chefman My Barista is quicker than most other single serve coffee brewers. The Chefman My Barista is compatible with K-Cups and ground coffee. There’s a cartridge that holds both K-Cups and a filter for ground coffee. Chefman My Barista will fit up to 16oz travel mugs, and brews in just 6 seconds. It’s also very compact - the Chefman My Barista is coffee your way and on demand.

Availability is limited right now, but expect it to roll out to Amazon and others. You should be able to find it at a Tuesday Morning store as well soon.

Video after the jump.

Have had my Barista Chefmate 3 mos. Use it once or twice a day. Now the power button is "sticking?" . I press to turn it on and nothing happens. Press, press, press. Nothing. Go away for a while. Go back and on it comes. What's going on? Don't know. But I think it's getting ready to "quit on me". Would not buy another one.

Rather loud pop this morning followed by a cloud of steam and water pouring out the dispenser and bottom of unit. Have had this 3 months used it once or twice a day. Cleaned the unit with white vinegar solution once a month.
Opened unit since I knew I would not be spending money to return. Discovered that the attachment tube from the water heater to the top of dispenser (going into the K-cup injector) had popped off its mount, since it appears that this was only just pushed down onto the injector (no clamp to hold in place) this was a failure just waiting to happen as any pressure back build, like from a poorly punctured k-cup, is going to cause this happen again. Just glad no one was standing close to this when it failed.

Mine worked well for about six months and then began leaking suddenly. It leaks even when just heating water for tea. It is much faster than a Kuerig and got the water hot enough. I bought mine at Tuesday Morning for about $50. If you buy it save your receipt. Unfortunately, I did not.

I bought a Chefman Barista on 12-27-14, as of this morning it is going to the junk pile. I am not spending $15 to send it back and another $15 I am supposed to send along back to the company. In stead of the water coming through the k-cup it leaks out the bottom. I guess I should have spent the money and bought a Keurig. Very disappointed.

How about a review? Really Tuesday Morning! They usually sell rejects and old products don't they?
Looks great. Especially for travel
