BOD the Heart, Stomach and Smile Friendly Cold Brew Coffee System

The BODcoffee cold brew

There's a lot of new brewers our there using French press or espresso methods, and the coffee produced is really great but can be higher in acid and also tough on the stomach. There's also a growing number of cold brew systems that are claiming to produce coffee with less acid, and a smoother cup of coffee. The BOD Coffee system uses a cold water infusion method to create a super-concentrated coffee extract that has:

  • 82% less Cafestol than French press & espresso to help maintain healthy cholesterol levels
  • 69% less total acid than drip coffee
  • 58% less tannic acid than drip coffee

Brewing coffee with the BOD is simple. Just pour coarsely ground coffee into the maximum extraction, stainless steel filter and fill the Brew Chamber with cold water. Attach the built-in Bean Kanteen and let the BOD brew for 12-24 hours. When brewing is complete, flip the BOD and the coffee extract automatically transfers to the Bean Kanteen to store coffee extract in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

The hourglass shaped BOD is made with Tritan and is BPA, phalate and PVC free. The BOD is spill-proof, shatterproof, leak-proof and dishwasher safe. In addition to the built-in Bean Kanteen, the BOD coffee system includes other accessories for storing and traveling. The Mini Bean Kanteen holds 6 oz. (2-3 servings) for a day at the office or weekend getaway, and the Baby Bean Kanteen holds up to 3.4 oz. (1.5 servings), the perfect size for taking through airport security to enjoy fresh cold brew coffee on a flight.

The BOD is available in a variety of colors and three system configurations with retail pricing starting at $59. For more information and pre-ordering, visit: www.bodybrew.com.
