Keurig Kills Kold
ˇKeurig has pulled the plug on Keurig KOLD and less than a year after it debuted at $370 bucks last fall. Discounting quickly ensued when it launched in Canada and other places, and consumers were not pleased with the price of the KOLD pods or the machine itself. We also noticed that most of the sodas we tried just weren’t that great given they would cost almost $1 a drink. Why pay a $1 when you can simply buy a case of Coke for much much less. The bad news is 130 people in Vermont will lose their job, but the glimmer of light is Keurig has supposedly learned for future beverage projects what to do and not do.

Oh yeah, right... Keurig learned from this debacle? Yeah, like DRM on K cups. Or just a lousy product? The ONLY thing the K cup had going for it was convenience. This piece of junk didn't even have that.
I and everyone else called it. Good.
I feel sorry for the people who will lose their jobs and sorry for the people who bought the unit.
I'll say it again; it was a solution in search if a problem.
The most ridiculous bit; using ice to enable the 'turbo' cooling mode, which of course begged th question if you have ice, why don't you buy soda....
