I can tell you that we really liked the Melitta One:One as well - but I will tell you it's not the "best" deal at $49.99 - it's a good deal. Most of the Single Serve and One Cup Wonders are at that price point now.
"A single-cup coffee maker is simplicity itself. You don't have to measure coffee or water. Fill the tank with water; just grab one of these pods, pre-measured coffee in a wrapped container, insert it into the machine, and brew the freshest cup every time."
I gave my brother and family a new blue Senseo for Christmas. I know the look of wonder when someone gets a Senseo after trying the coffee - it's pure Senseo magic!
"If you reached under the tree yesterday and came up with a handful of pods and a single-cup coffee maker, you are now part of the latest wave in coffee technology."

Say it ain't so: Mr. Coffee loses ground in hot market
Well - they may be not as chic - but they do have a single serve coffee maker out that we liked. Hmmm.... read on and give us your thoughts.
"The latest technology in coffee makers are the models that quickly brew one or two cups at a time. These coffee makers use pre-packaged coffee "pods" that seem a little like oversized tea bags.
The new models -- which make you a cup in about 60 seconds -- are being offered by Mr. Coffee, Krups, Hamilton Beach, Black & Decker, Melitta and Philips."
I highly recommend the Extra Large Water Tank for Senseo if you've received a Senseo that is not from Sam's Club (they come with it). If you're like me, initially you drink a cup of Senseo - then it leads to 2 - then 3 - then 4. I love the coffee but I hate refilling the tank.
Single Serve Coffee Holiday Shopping Guide for Senseo, Melitta, and others!
We are pretty sure it's hard to find everything you need for that perfect Single Serve Coffee holiday gift, so thanks to over 8 months of hard work, we have compiled what we think is a nearly complete list of things you can buy for any Single Serve Coffee lover or soon to be converted, drip coffee kind of person. Below you will find links to all the machines in this category along with links to pods, gadgets, accessories - you name it - it's down there.
If you don't find it below however, you may also want to read our reviews. Many of the items we have given coverage over the past year need to be ordered direct from those merchants including the Cafe Filter, Cappucinno Pods for Home Cafe, and others. You should read about the tradeoffs each machine has to offer and what the coffee pod/cup system will mean to your potential giftee.
Also, be careful of merchants over the holidays that don't have good feedback here on the site. If you are going to order pods from abroad - check out our coffee pods section and read up on the merchants who have done a good job with shipping and those who haven't.
And since this is coming out before the "thankful" holiday - we want to give a big thanks to our loyal readers, commenters, advertisers, and anyone who has helped us over the past 8 months to become the premiere source of Single Serve Coffee news. Without all of you - this site would simply be a static set of news, and not the interactive-exciting coffee laced place it has become. Thank you all again.
"Dominic Skinners Dunk Mug; an amusing alternative to the mundane coffee mug we see everyday; This one has got a very smart bult in compartment for some sweet little cookie treats. Loveable Design, available in right & left handed versions in a few different colors. They look like they’re alllll sold out for Christmas delivery, but they can guarantee January delivery if you order now from Mocha Home!"
We were very excited to see that on December 1st (and from a fury of emails) that the folks at Keurig had introduced a new Single Cup/Serve Coffee maker in the form of the B50. We reviewed the Keurig B100 earlier in the year and we weren't that impressed for the money - at $249.95 the B100 was a little too expensive for most people looking at the Single Serve Coffee arena and was much better suited for Home Office use.
The Mr. Coffee Home Café Review from Single Serve Coffee.com
The Home Café has been a force to be reckoned with this year in the Single Serve Coffee arena. I don't think as much advertising for any of the other entries - maybe Senseo, but it's also been a force to be reckoned with when you consider they will not only have a Black&Decker version, but also a Mr. Coffee and a Braun.
We were anxious to get our hands on the Mr. Coffee version of the product, as the Black&Decker Home Café had turned out to be a little less than stellar in the engineering department (you can read our review here). We had experienced a lack of quality overall with how the coffee maker shuts, the pod holders being plastic - actually - PLASTIC PLASTIC PLASTIC! Our hopes for the entire Home Café line have been pinned to the back of this Mr. Coffee version - would it make the grade?
Looks like Keurig has a new single serve coffee machine for the home - the B50! It has a removable reservoir and many other interesting features - and two brew sizes. Nice! We reviewed the Keurig earlier this year and will be anxious to review the B50 soon.
Keurig B50 Brewer Features
• Removable 48oz. Water Reservoir
• Removable Drip Tray
• Programmable LCD Message Center
• Two brew size choices
