Bodum Corona Clear Coffee Cup - Clear Mug Mystery Solved
The mug we use in most reviews is the Bodum Corona 13 oz clear coffee mug.
With the help of our faithful readers, we've solved the mystery of the Single Serve Coffee review mug we've been using for over 3+ years. We were correct in thinking it was a Bodum coffee mug, but we didn't have the model correct. We thought it was an earlier model of the Pavina series - just not double walled, but we were wrong. It is in fact the Bodum Corona clear coffee mug. We found them at Whole Latte Love, and we think they are in limited supply, because we don't see them listed on the main Bodum site any longer. We also measured the volume of our cup - and it does indeed hold 13 oz.
Melitta MES5B Javapod Single Pod Coffee Brewer System
You can find this single serve coffee maker under the name MES5B or Javapod depending on the reseller who carries it. We've not been able to track down one for review just yet, but reader Cathy B. has written in they're available at Target. We haven't found them at Target, but we have been able to find them online at Salton, Amazon.com, and Melitta's site. What's even more odd - the brewer has 2-3 different pictures floating around the web, but this may be due to the one above being a 3D render of the machine, and the other pictures being actual shots of the new brewer. We'll let you know more as we find a review unit. We're also assuming this unit uses Melitta JavaPods coffee pods, and other coffee pods will work as well in the unit.

After receiving just north of 10 inches of snow last night, we had to get up extra-early to get rid of all that snow from the Single Serve Coffee headquarters. It takes just about 1.5 hours to dig out from a big snow storm, and it's really nice to have one of the staff bring me out a cup of Hot Cocoa instead of just coffee to warm up the heart and fingers.
We have grown pretty fond of the Hot Cocoa K-Cups from Green Mountain over this Fall and early winter as many of the staff have kids, and they always enjoy a cup or two of Hot Cocoa as do we. We highly recommend getting some to keep your hearts and minds fresh, and comfortable over the cold months to come.
Clear Mugs and Single Serve Coffee - Help Us Find More
We have a long tradition here at Single Serve Coffee of using clear mugs in all of our single serve coffee reviews, and several readers have recently written in asking us where we found this clear coffee mug so they could purchase one. We thought we knew where they could, but have found out we can no longer find our precious clear mug for sale anywhere. Now a little background...
Since we first bought the Senseo over 3+ years ago, we also purchased on that same day a clear mug seen in almost all of our reviews. We have long thought the mug we feature in most of our reviews with a handle is from Bodum. Well - it's not. Apparently it's made in France (our only clue to it's origin), and over time we've seen the mug in Whole Foods and other locations for sale but never purchased another one.
We did recently find the new Bistro Double Wall Thermal Coffee Mugs, that are both double walled and also have a handle. But these aren't the same thick sturdy glass construction we've come to know and love.
Please sound off in the comments on where and what clear mugs you've found, can find, or are using. It would be great to have an extensive list of new clear mugs so everyone can enjoy their single serve coffee in the only way we like to drink it - in the clear.

We've been really enjoying the four new T Disc coffee blends, and one of the four that we think leads the pack is the Africa Kitamu. Not only is the Africa Kitamu dark and interesting coffee, it has one of the sweetest flavors we've had in a non-flavored coffee in quite some time.
